Help file accessible from the Help menu
Chapters 1 to 5 – Getting Started is designed for first time users. It explains how to install TRAFFIX, as well as the basic features of TRAFFIX and how to put them into use.
Chapters 6 to 18 – Reference and Features provides users with a reference tool for looking up how each menu item in TRAFFIX works and how to interpret error messages and solve program operation problems.
Chapters 19 to 23 -- Level of Service Calculation Technical Notes explains the engineering calculations used by TRAFFIX to calculate level of service. These notes are vital to understand how to select among the various parameters and input options available in TRAFFIX and for correctly interpreting the output. These notes supplement but do not replace the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM). Users are expected to be familiar with the analytical procedures contained in the Highway Capacity Manual and should have a copy of that document available for their reference.
