In order to install TRAFFIX 7.5, a unique “TRAFFIX.KEY” file is required. Users should make sure they have a valid key before proceeding with the installation process. These keys will be e-mailed to users downloading the program, or they will be included on the distribution media.
The default TRAFFIX installation subdirectory is \TRAFFIXW. Existing users wishing to upgrade to 7.5 are encouraged to rename their existing \TRAFFIXW directory to something else, i.e., \TRAFFIXOLD, and then execute a complete reinstallation of the TRAFFIX program. Multiple versions of the program can co-exist and run, provided each is in its own directory. Keep in mind however that TRAFFIX data files are not designed to be backwardly compatible.
