Getting Information About Items on the Screen

To identify a network item, a tool, or a program button, simply point to the item with the mouse cursor and look in the lower left corner of the screen. This is the Item Selection Line, and it provides brief information about the item selected by the cursor. It also provides information about key strokes that can be used to access pop-up menus and key strokes that perform special functions involving the item under the mouse cursor. Also, Shift-F1 provides access to context sensitive help information. Access to the program’s extensive help file is provided by the F1 key.
