Sort Indexes

This option renumbers selected object indexes beginning with a starting index number supplied by the user typically greater than any existing index number to avoid duplication. The first selected item (top leftmost) is given the starting index number, and each successive item is given the next index number in order. Two choices for renumbering order are provided:

Horizontal - proceeds in order from left to right and then from top to bottom based on the position of the selected items.

Vertical - proceeds in order from top to bottom and then left to right based on the position of the selected items.
