Step 5.1 Name One or More Trip Generation Rates

1. Select Options…Global Data…Trip Generation Rates…Edit Trip Generation Rates. This will bring up the Edit Trip Generation Rates dialog box.

2. Enter the name of one or more trip generation rates to be used in the analysis. For our example, enter “Weekday PM Peak Hour”. Click OK when finished.

3. Select Options…Global Data…Trip Generation Rates…Select Trip Generation Rates. This will bring up the Select Trip Generation Rate dialog box. Select the rate to be associated with the current scenario, by selecting “Yes” in the drop-down field next to “Trip Gen Rate 1”. Note that up to eight rates can be named and associated with each scenario. Click OK when finished.
