Select the Tools…Evaluate…Forecast option and the forecast module will begin to operate. TRAFFIX will show you its progress as it moves through each stage of the evaluation and forecasting process. This information consists of screen output messages which remain on the screen when the forecast run is finished. The key steps that are completed and the warning and error messages that are generated are also placed in the Log file. The various reports that were selected earlier by the user are placed in the Report file. The Log file and the Report file can be viewed, printed, or copied to the clipboard using the buttons that appear on the forecast screen.
The View Messages button simply shows the screen output messages that were generated by the forecast run. The View Log button shows the contents of the Log file. The View Report button shows the contents of the Report file.
