COMPARE SCENARIOS REPORTS

Two special reports are available in TRAFFIX for Windows that compare the level of service results for up to four scenarios at a time. To create these reports, the user must complete two steps.

First, select Options…Global Data…Compare Scenario Parameters. In this dialog box identify which scenarios are to be compared by placing an x in one box for each scenario to be compared, and select a scenario name from the drop down boxes for each compare scenario checked. Select Base and Mitigated for this example.

Second, select …Compare Scenario…Summary & Detail Report…Future…Base+Added Volume.

The compare scenario module will run and produce an output file with the default name of TCOMPARE.OUT. Two reports are created: a Comparison Summary Report and a Comparison Detail Report. The Summary report shows the LOS results for all intersections for all scenarios selected for the comparison. The Detail Report shows detailed information for each intersection for all of the scenarios selected for comparison, in a two-scenarios-per-page format. There are both text and graphical versions of these reports.
