To run the program, use Start…Programs…Traffix for Windows or double click a shortcut icon, if you have added one to your desktop. The program will load and a “Welcome” banner will be displayed on the screen.
While the program is loading, a circle icon is displayed which is progressively filled in as the process continues. When fully filled in, the process is complete. When the program is drawing or redrawing the network a world icon is displayed. A larger world icon is used to indicate when the redrawing process cannot be interrupted by the user. A smaller world icon next to the mouse cursor is used to indicate when the user may interrupt the process with another command.
