New Database

Use this option to create a new *.tfx (TFX) database. A new filename will be created and a new blank editing window will be loaded with this filename in the header. (Shortcut keystroke: Ctrl-N ). The TFX database is a proprietary machine readable file, which is not designed to be edited externally with programs other than TRAFFIX. Advanced users wishing to edit data sets externally frequently write Traffix DOS ASCII files, modify them and read them back into TRAFFIX for Windows.
