2.6 THE GRAB TOOL

The Grab tool (hand icon) is used to reposition the network within the window, by clicking a point in the window and dragging that point to a new position. When the user clicks, the icon changes to a clenched hand, and returns to an open hand when the click is released. Make sure that the cursor is not located over a network item (intersection, link, zone, or gate) when you click; when over a network item the cursor changes to an arrow, and will not work as a Grab tool. Alternatively, this tool can be used to point to the area you want to appear in the center of the window. As above, point the cursor to the area, then click and release the left mouse button. That area will now appear in the center of the window.
