A link in TRAFFIX™ is simply the distance between two nodes. A link can either be a part of a segment, a segment, or a section. In the arterial analysis, all data is compiled at the link level, even delays that might be calculated at the node level. Intersection delay is associated with the time to travel through the node at the end of a link. Thus, there is never any intersection delay entering the arterial; and there is always delay leaving a route (unless the end node is not a signalized or all-ways stop intersection).
