Specify the route’s direction. Eight choices are possible - one for each of the four cardinal directions (one-way analysis) and two each for the North-South and East-West direction pairs (two-way analysis). These direction choices affect the labels and layout of the route analysis reports. If a one-way direction is chosen (North, South, East, West), it will be used to determine the directional label on the route output reports (e.g., Northbound, Southbound, etc.) and the report will only contain results for that direction of travel on the street involved. If a two-way direction is chosen (North-South, South-North, East-West, West-East), both directions of travel will be reported. The first direction reported will be the first direction listed by the chosen direction (e.g., North-South will result in a Northbound report first, followed by a Southbound report, etc.) Note that if a one-way direction is chosen, links in only one direction along the route must be selected. If links in both directions are selected, TRAFFIX™ will notify the user of the error before proceeding to the next route or before leaving the Edit Routes mode.
