22.4 LINK DATA ENTRY

Link information (street name, arterial class, free-flow speed, and distance) must be entered for each link. To enter/edit link data, point to a link and RightClick. This will bring up a dialog box for entry/editing of link data, including link distance; arterial class, speeds, and delays. See Figure 50 below for a sample link data dialog box display. The link data dialog box can be accessed from either the Edit Routes, Edit Network, or Edit Paths modes.

The user should be aware that the data is entered for only one direction of travel on the street in this dialog box. On a given route, it is possible that the links representing the opposite travel directions on a street could require entry of different link data. Watch the item selection line at the bottom of the screen to make sure you are selecting the desired directional street link. This can be facilitated by zooming in on the area of the network you are working on, so that individual one-way links are displayed.
