TRAFFIX™ can export UTDF compatible files into Trafficware's Synchro program, using Tools/Write File/Synchro (UTDF). For future volume scenarios, use Tools/Write Computed Volume File and then choose Synchro (UTDF). Note: the initial build of TRAFFIX™ 7.5 (11/08/2000) only exported out a "base" volume scenario. When writing the network layout, for best results first go to Options/Global Data/Parameters and set the "One system unit equals __ feet" to a value of 25.
Synchro's ability to optimize coordinated signals and ability to write SIMTRAFFIC & CORSIM compatible simulation files gives TRAFFIX™ users an avenue by which their networks can be converted to simulations.
