New Database

Use this option to create a new *.tfx (TFX) database. A new filename will be created and a new blank editing window will be loaded with this filename in the header. (Shortcut keystroke: Ctrl-N). The TFX database is a proprietary machine readable file, which is not designed to be edited externally with programs other than TRAFFIX™. Advanced users wishing to edit data sets externally frequently write TRAFFIX™ DOS ASCII files, modify them and read them back into TRAFFIX™ for Windows.
