Use this option to open a TFX database which was previously created using TRAFFIX™ for Windows. The selected database will be loaded in a new editing window with its filename in the header. (Shortcut keystroke: Ctrl-O).
NOTE: When importing TFX files created with an older version of TRAFFIX™, it is important to create a back-up copy of your file prior to importing. Once a TFX network from an older file is opened in TRAFFIX™, if the user exits the program without re-saving the old file, the old TFX file will be deleted. It may be possible to replace the *.tfx extension on the *.bak network back-up file that TRAFFIX™ creates. Exercise caution too when using a default.tfx file upon start-up with a new version of TRAFFIX™. Opening such a default TFX database will also update it and delete it if not saved.
